The story behind Dynamo6's 'Imagine a World' video

In September 2022, as we prepared to sponsor the NZ CIO Summit, we reached a milestone. It was a moment for Dynamo6 to step onto a larger stage and articulate not just what we do, but who we had become. We wanted to make a statement, and the result was our brand video, "Imagine a World."

The year 2022 was a significant one for Dynamo6. We celebrated 10 years in business and were thrilled to be named on the Financial Times' list of High-Growth Companies in the Asia-Pacific. Coinciding with our sponsorship of the NZ CIO Summit, it felt like the perfect moment to articulate not just what we do, but who we had become.

We wanted to make a statement, and the result was our brand video, "Imagine a World." This wasn't just about creating a corporate video; it was about capturing the essence of our mission and marking a major milestone in our journey.

A Message for a World in Motion

With the CIO Summit as our platform, we wanted to deliver a clear message. The video was crafted to be a thought-provoking statement for leaders who believe the status quo is never good enough. It’s a look at the role Dynamo6 plays in helping companies go faster and further by using innovative ideas and cutting-edge cloud technologies.

The opening line, "Imagine a world where nothing changed," serves as a direct challenge to complacency. It’s the antithesis of why Dynamo6 was founded. Our world is defined by constant movement and evolution, and our video is a manifesto for embracing that change.

A Look Behind the Scenes

To bring this vision to life, it was essential that the video felt authentic to who we are. Instead of actors, you’ll see our own Dynamo6 team members as the driving force of the story.

The video was filmed across our key locations, capturing the energy of our former Ward Street office and our vibrant space in Panama Square, Hamilton. We were also thrilled to feature some of our valued customers, showcasing the real-world environments where our technology makes an impact and helps businesses thrive.

Beyond the visuals, the video's core message is about empowerment. The journey through the city, the seamless use of technology to enter a building, the collaborative team meetings—it all points to our ultimate goal: to bring the best tech to life.
