Building a better digital hosting platform

When they met with Dynamo6, Kiwi Property were looking to improve their website performance – they needed to ensure that it would keep working as their requirements grew and shifted. They were also looking for consistent service and support.

Dynamo6’s first job was to design, develop and manage Kiwi Property’s new digital hosting platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The result was a new, dedicated, highly-available hosting environment, which uses all the latest AWS performance optimisation, and includes separate environments for production, staging and development. Dynamo6 also wrapped around a managed services agreement, ensuring secure administration of the environment.

“It’s really rewarding to work with a group of people who know what they’re doing, are proactive and undertake their core business exceptionally well. ”

Web for the real world

Once all Kiwi Property’s new websites were deployed onto its own AWS, Dynamo6 turned to enhancing the company’s overall web environment.

Kiwi Property has corporate websites for shareholders and investors, and individual retail centre websites for shoppers, but wanted to do more with their web environment.

Using their insight and expertise, Dynamo6 integrated an indoor mapping solution with Micello for the company’s retail site maps. In real terms, this helps visitors find stores and parking spots, by showing them which car parks are full and which are available in real time. The new system was timed to launch with the opening of the new H&M store in Sylvia Park, when Jill knew the centre would be experiencing huge crowds.

“Our new shopping centre mapping solution fully integrates with Wi-Fi and other digital platforms such as way-finder digital displays, delivering a seamless experience for our shoppers.”

“We have found the team at Dynamo6 to be flexible and timely, and we are impressed with both their expertise and professional approach. Together, we have been able to develop better online experiences for our customers.”
